My journey into marketing and web design has shaped how I approach my work and I believe, it will help you.

I’ve worked in Hospitality, Recruitment and then in HR in various industries including manufacturing & IT.

So I know a thing, or two about how to speak and work in different environments.

This helps me when creating content for different audiences.

Whilst working as a HR Manager, a friend asked for my help on their website.

She had hired a well-known web design company but felt completely lost in the process.

Each progress review was frustrating - even though she told them what her business was about, the website didn’t reflect it at all.

She was weeks from opening and no closer to having a functional website. Panic stations!

I tried communicating her vision to them, but I got frustrated too.

So I started working on the design process myself in my spare time and had it up and running in time for the business opening it’s doors.

For me, it opened my eyes to what work I really should be doing.

The satisfaction of creating that first website and, just as important, the relief I brought the business owner was unmatched to anything I had done in my career.

That was in 2018 - the year I left HR, got qualified, and began to work in Marketing.

Since then, I have:

• Created both Squarespace and Shopify Websites

• Maintain Wordpress websites

• Designed and created brochures and pop-up banners

• Created promotional videos for trade shows

• Edited photos for websites and promotional materials

• Created animated versions of brand logos for promotional videos

• Completed extensive training on copywriting

• Built up my knowledge and expertise on SEO tactics

• Got Page 1 google rankings for the websites I have created from scratch

Creating websites and promotional materials that make my clients happy is hugely rewarding to me.
